Gears of War 1 - dem graphics in 2006. Ninja Gaiden Sigma - one of my favorite games of all time remade with 1080P 60FPS and higher res textures. Uncharted 2/3 - dem graphics in 2009/2011. dat fun factor Batman: Arkham City - dat freedom. dat voice acting. dat combat.
Red Dead Redemption - I love Westerns, and plus I can just load up a landscape and paint. Win-win.
Arkham Asylum - As a lifelong comic fan, I never thought I'd see the Batman universe rendered with such love and attention to detail. City was cook, but Asylum was the first to show me someone "got it".
Uncharted 2 - I didn't expect it be so fun to play, and it's gorgeous with some of the best character writing I've seen in an action game.
GTA4 - boring to some, and while it lacked things I enjoyed from prior games, the attention to detail mesmerizes me and I can play it forever and still find new things. I liked the car physics.
MGS4 - I've been invested in MGS since the NES, and the PS game was my big love in high school. I don't care how melodramatic and long-winded Kojima gets, his sci-fi story always resonates with current events and concerns like good sci-fi should. MGS4 isn't my favorite MGS, but the AI and replayability floors me.
