ALWAYS On = no Xbox 720 for me

#1RKOMe2011Posted 2/15/2013 8:50:51 PM
Always ON = no next gen 720 for me. Living in a dead-zone area with no connections or access to Cell Phones or High Speeds I couldnt get next gen if they have these requiremtents.

So yes that is a BIG DEAL to me also this would mark an end to 20+ years of gaming and this would mark my final generation as a gamer.

I live in an area where I might as well be on a deserted island as It, feels like you are cut off from the modern world I have no access to the internet or Cell Phones.

So if next gen requires ALWAYS On then I will get neither of them and this will mark an end of 20+ years of gaming.

Until just two years ago I lived in a house that was literally in the middle of the woods. I did have cell phone service but I only had dial up internet. I couldn't even get satellite internet because my house was completely surrounded by tall trees. Ultimately the lack of internet is what forced me to move into the city. I'm sure there's still a good amount of people living in rural areas that still don't have high speed internet though. For this reason alone an always on connection is not a smart idea.
