This is a split board - You can return to the Split List for other boards.

I want 1 vs. 100 back so freaking bad.

It was such a good game. Why haven't they brought it back or made some sort of successor? Srsly?

Full House Poker is the successor

When the hell is that coming out?

That is out, but the free World Series of Poker version is coming soon (just not sure the date, since it's still listed as TBA 2013).

I freaking loved 1 vs 100, no game on the Xbox has ever gotten my friends and family together in one room or online faster than when the live shows would start.

Trivia and Poker are akin to Apples and Oranges.

I like them both, but you may as well be comparing Magic and Yu-Gi-Oh to Call of duty and Madden. The only connection is that the same development team - MS Studios - is responsible for them both, and they both involve a "massive" multi-player dynamic.

The fact that you could win REAL MS points in "1 vs 100" was great, but to be honest I would simply love for a similar TRIVIA styled game against hundreds or thousands of people to exist. Poker with fake money just isn't enticing, especially when the scrubs go "All In" on every, single, hand.

and by your statement i can tell you dont know even the most elementary thing about playing poker, someone jumping into the table and going all in on one hand, whether they win or lose that hand doesnt win tournaments or tables.

And by your statement I can tell you haven't got a clue as to what I'm talking about.

First off, I was referring to the game "Full House Poker". If you haven't played it, go buy it and do so now. And see how 90% of the players play. Most of them go "All In" every single hand just on the off chance that their bankroll will rise. They care nothing for the mechanics of the game itself. And if you're lucky enough to find people who REALLY play the game, some fool will eventually enter your game and start the lottery ball rolling.

Secondly, I've been playing poker since high school in the 80's and have won thousands of dollars on the former Bodog. I know how to play the game in all its many varieties; it's the Xbox players who don't have the wits or care.

And this is why Trivia based video games are better. :)

"Xbox Live just can't get enough poker, apparently, with Microsoft today announcing a free-to-play sequel to Full House Poker. Entitled World Series of Poker: Full House Pro, the new game ups the ante (geddit?) with ESPN announcers Lon McEachern and Norman Chad and the inclusion of real-world casinos.

Players start each day with a free stack of chips, which can be played at single tables or in tournaments. Furthermore, the game will be playable across Xbox 360 and Windows 8, with players able to start a game on one platform and continue on another. World Series of Poker: Full House Pro will launch this spring."
