This is one of the most well-received new FPS IPs this Gen, how would you rate it?

This topic should be... Less vocal, I think.

Perfect 10, if you don't like it, it's because you suck at it so go back to COD pew pew. Bioshock is not for the weak, it's an actual game, not an interactive book.

10/10

The best game of this console generation, an amazing story and atmosphere, interesting powers and guns, it looked good, and still does IMO, and while the shooting was a little loose, it was still pretty enjoyable.

8/10

the story was great, gameplay was fun, setting was done terrifically, overall just a great game.

but to me, it lacked replay value, no real boss fights, enemies lack variety (but the a.i was great), and would freeze a lot even after i saved it to my hdd

I'm fairly stingy with my 10's, but Bioshock is worthy of a 10/10.

7/10 from me. Perfectly fun, playable game but the setting didn't grab me as it seemed to grab others.

The atmosphere was really good. First time entering Rapture was very memorable, discovering and figure out the unique aspects (Big Daddies, ADAM, Little Sisters, etc.).

Great. Fun to play, no major flaws.

The atmosphere was great and I'm a sucker for art deco and Ayn Rand discussion. Story was engrossing, with a twist that could only work with a video game, so that's another point for "games as art" in my book.

Probably the best opening I've seen in a game to this day.
