I about geeked out out when I saw it in the new Game Informer. Mainly because it's being developed by Avalanche with an expanded Toy Box Mode in mind. Although, reading how the game will revolve around the use of booster packs similar to Skylanders kind of dampened that excitement. I avoided trying out Skylanders for that gimmick alone.

I read that Gameinformer preview as well. Not exactly hyped, but it looks pretty cool.

The Skylanders thing... Yeah, not sure if I'm going to bother after I read that.

What greater weapon is there than to turn an enemy to your cause? To use their own knowledge against them?

I can imagine how Disney will milk the figures now, with seasonal exclusives at specific parks, just like their pins.

I still like the idea, though.
