Xbox Live annual cost: $49.99 (For argument's sake, let's say $40, you might have got a $35 deal here and there)

7 x 40 = $280 cost to date

Can you imagine what you could buy with $280? You could get 7 games (or +20 for budget gamers) or even another console for yourself.

Aaaaaaand on top of that we have to look at ads every time we're on the dashboard? I thought we pay extra for services so we don't have to see ads (download sites, anti virus programs, etc)

I don't know about you but the only adverts I see on the dashboard are stuff that's being sold on the marketplace.

Please try harder, over a long period of time ALL amounts sound abnormally large.
