Medal of Honor - Went way downhill after Frontline. Which had a great OST and awesome missions.

Ace Combat - The Strangereal world was great. Ruined the series by making it feature the real world. I believe sales tanked as well, seeing as Ace Combat sold pretty well in Japan surprisingly.

Suikoden - Konami basically stated they didn't want to continue the story/world after 5 ****ing games. And now makes completely unrelated RPGs using the Suikoden name -_-

Gears of War - I found Gears way more disappointing than Mass Effect, as I played 3 games waiting for this awesome story to open up and it didn't. I refuse to buy the prequel.

Resident evil- all games up to RE 0 and Remake were good SURVIVAL HORROR.
RE 4 and RE 5 and RE 6 are like COD with zombies.

Bubsy- Bubsy 3D was the WORST EVER GAME PLAYED ON MY OLD CRT TV.

Yeah, resident evil went in a completely new direction with 4. It would have been nice to stop it at three. It went from genuine horror with a badass Nemesis to an action hero type of game. It's not a bad game at all, just isn't Resident Evil.
