Live vs PS network

One's free and you pay for the other, outside of no one using a mic on the PS3 and the community being a bit smaller, I never noticed a huge difference.

Yes. Xbox runs it, like most multiplats, better.

One controller is ergonomic to use (360) while the other is outdated and and has odd triggers (PS3).

With the Black Ops series I've had a ton of problems with the connection cutting out on PS3. Black Ops one also looks much, much better on the 360. And some changes like the texture applied to scopes on the PS3 version, actually affect gameplay.

Not sure if that helps though. I've also really only played the BO series on both consoles.

Also, and it's sad that I have to say this all the time, but I am not a fanboy. Hell, most people would call me a PS3 fanboy if anything (but only because I hate MS lately and post mostly on the PS3 boards. I really don't give a crap for console wars)

thanks, for replies. I might just stick with Xbox as my 360 plays well online. But something like more players on Battlefield might make me re-consider. And we have not seen the 360 pad or anything yet.

If you were thinking of getting a PS4 then I wouldn't say comparing it to the PS3 is fair. I'm assuming Sony will greatly improve their online service for next gen.

...I wouldn't be too surprised if they charged a fee though.

Coming from someone who has used several versions of both 360 and PS3, playing CoDs on both consoles, 360 wins by a landslide for multiple reasons, most of which revolve around Xbox LIVE being a far superior service. You play PS3 online because it's free, not because it's comparable to an Xbox LIVE experience.
