13-2 is actually a pretty decent game. You can't go in thinking of it as a Final Fantasy game but I liked it, and I couldn't bring myself to even finish 13-1. Perfect Cell85Posted 2/21/2013 10:27:16 PM | Good, but not great to me. I find that I'm enjoying 13-2 more than this even though it is a bit shorter than 13.
My main gripe in this game is the whole upgrade system for ultimate weapons. It just forces you to either farm Sacrifice enemies in Orphan's Cradle for gil or kill Adamantoise/Tortise once you beat the game. I've been at this farming stage for the last 15 or so hours and it's really starting to tick me off. |

JukainPosted 2/22/2013 2:04:53 AM | So many haters. Final Fantasy XIII was a bad Final Fantasy game, but it was still a decent enough game. I gave it a 5. It's not remarkable, but it wasn't terrible either.
Final Fantasy XIII-2, on the other hand, stepped the game up quite a bit. I'd give it an 8.
I'm expecting Lightning Returns to raise the bar even further. It looks really fun.
