I find it funny that Wii U got ripped for next to no third party support, and the PS4 practically has developers lining up around the block, and the general anti-sony response is "Well, I dont like those devs anyway" or "Well, it will still suck I hate Sony!"
We were going to be a de facto console exclusive for Sony no matter what.
Fox news meet your gaming counterpart....We trash the competitor while even telling you we are working for their competiton and some dim witted people still eat it up as fact rather than opinionated garbage
I hate the way the 360 and the PS3 are "multi-media" and "online social network" devices in the eyes of Microsoft and Sony, rather than pure games machines, and it looks like the PS4 and XBox 720 are going to be even more so. I want a games console to be a games console, and nothing more. Like everyone (and I mean everyone) I use a PC (some people use tablets or mobile phones) for multi-media and communication*, I never feel the need to do any of that on a console (except for game related stuff, of course).
* I play games on a PC too, but you know what I mean.
I disagree, theres no reason a console cant do these things and still play games. When I want to watch tv I want it on a tv screen, not a computer and the apps let people do that without having to hook up a hdmi cable and use a wireless mouse. Plus the apps tend to play a lot smoother than the websites the content comes from. My choice for next gen will be for the games, but if one console gets superior video apps then that may influence my decision.
