Did I miss the GoD sale?

i bought both Bully and RE4 on GoD cheaper than what Gamestop had them for

I'd rather have the physical retail game over digital download, if there is an option. With a physical disc, you can play the game on ANY Xbox360 console.

well. i lied about RE4. As its not a physical xbox game. But if it WAS...no way in hell Gamestop or any other mainstream vidya game joint would sell it for $10
Bully was $15 Gamestop had it used for $30

I was replying to this
He implied GoD is ALWAYS more expensive, even during sales

I do not think it is possible for anyone with half a brain to "miss" a GoD sale.

"Hey our $30 DD game is on sale for $15! Forget the fact that you can buy it new right now at the corner store for $10.."

Unless this sale is something special, those games are terribly overpriced.

No, you can't.

Most games are region-locked, meaning, you would only be able to play them on a console that can play games from that region.

Also, you can play GoD games on any console that can play the physical copy, as long as it has an internet connection if you aren't using the console that has the console license.

Plus you essentially get two copies of the game via GoD.

Explain.

The xbox you download it on can be played by any account on that machine. You can also play it on any xbox under the account you bought it as long as you are signed in to XBL.

Any account on a second console can use the content as long as the owning account is connected to Live on that console.

All you have to do is have the owning account signed in on an unused controller, they don't have to actively be playing.

Aye. That also works for DLC as well in most cases.

What time does the day change over on XBOX Live? I want Bioshock but I'm at work until 7:00 PET. Pretty sure that's early enough but was just wondering when they change it over.

Bioshock is one of the games on sale all week.

Only the Halo games are today only.

And many times "today" will run into tomorrow morning.

It really figures that this would be the time of year that I'm dead broke too.
