I can only think of some games that do so. I mean I know most if not all do.. But not as deep as some.( CoD.. Pfft! )

As I posted in another topic. Assassin's Creed actually does this pretty well. Animus is one bing term and so many other things.

Most games I see now do have some symbolism in them; but it just doesn't feel all that deep honestly.

TES kind of does it was the gods and daedric princes but you only get a good feel if you read the outside articles and such.

I'm typing myself into a circle.. But does anyone know of any games that have some strong symbolism in them?

I'm currently taking Humanities at my college and it had really opened my eyes to a lot of things (I had a basic idea of these kind of things but my Professor had made my vision broader). Archetypes and anima and animus.. a lot of other things.

The Halo series has a ton of symbolism.

The whole forerunner race, the flood, a lot of stuff.
Royale with Cheese. What do they call a Big Mac? Big Mac's a Big Mac, but they call it Le Big Mac.

I recommend Bioshock and when it comes out (March 26th) Bioshock Infinite. Check out this Bioshock Infinite trailer if you are interested.

Bioshock is a great example. Eden, Adam and Eve symbolism is huge in that game.

I was honestly thinking about it as my and my Fiancee are interested and it in fact does have some very strong symbolisms and archetypes in it.

But I so strongly disliked Bioshock 2 that I don't know.

The first game was amazing.. And it had some intense deconstruction in it. Man
