Anyone have tips to help me get back on LIVE?

For awhile, now, my wireless connection to LIVE seemed to be doing quite well, giving me next to no lag while online.

However, now I'm getting an MTU error, which means that my connection is too weak to send the minimum amount of date over the network...

I tried resetting the connection by turning off the modem and the router and turning them back on one-at-a-time, but the connection is still only showing three bars at most and not connecting to LIVE...

The site says that buying a Wireless N Adapter for my Slim would possibly help boost the signal. What do you guys think I should go for?

Better go on wired connection instead using wireless because it's more stable but it still lags in multiplayer games.

The xbox slim is wireless N however it runs at the 2.5ghz band not the 5ghz.

If your xbox is stuck on G you need a proper dual band router.

Most routers that can run N are not proper dual band and they drop everthing on your network to the lowest common denominator.

Also check your MTU 15000 is the max allowed but don't set it to that leave a little off I use 1490.

What do you mean by "stuck on G?"

I mean if you have a router that can use N but everything is using the G band, your router is
not a proper dual band.
