This. The gameplay was a bit clunky and lackluster. I wouldn't call it generic though, but it was the "atmosphere" was not as great as critics praised. Bioshock was a 7.5/8 for me. I was stunned to learn about all the praise it received.

I don't know man, I think Heavy Rain is the most underrated gem this generation. I wish there new game would hit the Nextbox.

Once Fallout came out, Bioshook turned into a borring snoozefest. And that's before the pathetic BS2 came out.

I know im in the minority about this, but it the Bioshock games are in my top 10 of most OVER rated games of all time.

top 5 of this generation because it was a shooter with a great story and fighting big daddys was one of the most memorable moments (for me) this gen
