The Warriors series is quite good for this. Simple basic gameplay and thus easy to get into, but loads of content to go through if she likes it.

The Lego series is always rather good.

My gf likes to play the Lego games and board games like Monopoly. She doesn't like split-screen games, so that leaves many games out. She liked Skylanders as well.

My Mrs. likes to play the Dynasty Warriors and Warriors Orochi games. But that could just be because of where she's from.
