Better character? Nope, I'd rather see Lara because she's easy on the eyes, but she's not 'better' than Nathan. She doesn't have the wit and charisma, but blame the crappy writers. Exploration, agreed. There's more platforming than fighting mobs so far. I hope it changes in the future, then again Tomb Raider has always been like this. The script is garbage, predictable story, and the VA is laughable, by the way. And a bow? Ok.

Tomb Raider is pretty cool but is not 'better in just about every way' than Uncharted.

If the Uncharted games were trying to emulate and improve on the old Tomb Raider games, the new game proves why Lara is still the original. I can't believe how good this game is, anyone else had a chance to play it yet?

Besides climbing, the gameplay is vastly different from Uncharteds to the original Tomb Raiders. I don't understand how people say they are similar.

In Tomb Raider, you strafe and shoot. In Uncharted, you mostly shoot behind cover. Uncharted has more varied gameplay, too.

It's just as bad when people were saying Crackdown and Infamous were the same.
