Too big?

This is true. I've got a 90" screen with an Hd projector. It's pretty moist.

LOLOL nice one Iceman :) does anyone know if you can reduce screen size on tv pictures. Like reduce the picture to be equivalent to 32 or so inches

I have 2 hdtvs of different brands and sizes and both have a "pix shape" button on the remote and at least 7 settings of zoom and stretched screens. On both there is a zoomed out black bar surrounded crisp picture on one setting. Is this what you are meaning?

I want to upgrade to a plasma for gaming but they start out at 42 inches. I've been gaming on a 27/32 inch for 15ish years and like to play up close to the tv. Is 42 going to be too big?

Are you non American?

The recommended distance from a 42" is 5.5ft, a 32" is 4 feet.

32" is the perfect size to get maximum picture quality without sacrificing stretched resolution.

42 and 47 are nice, but you're sitting farther away to make up for it. 32" is perfect, imo.

If you want further help.

That sounds about right.

I game on a 32 inch , and find myself about 4 feet away.

Size should be relative to the distance you are sitting. So yes, there is such a thing as too big.

Good choice in choosing plasma. Anyway I went from a 42" Panasonic plasma which I thought was a huge upgrade over my 32" LCD to a 50" Panasonic plasma now. At first I thought it was a big deal but now I want bigger lol. You will fully enjoy your new beast.

I once played Halo 3 on a 100-inch projection screen. There is no such thing as too big.

How cute, you have no idea what you're talking about but you pretend like you do. Anyway, TC, I game on a 50in plasma and it is awesome.
