kinda reminds me of Aliens: Colonial Marines & Duke Nukem Forever....their collector's editions launched for$99.99....less than a month later you can get them for about 30$ cheaper...Regular editions launched for $59.99.. and you get get them for $20 cheaper less than launch (if you take the time & look, you can get the regular edition of Aliens: CM for about 20-25$ off of eBay.

I was burned by fast price drops with Dead Space 2. So with DS3, I just waited 20 days, and then that Gohastings sale happened. $32.00, not bad.
