Pantom breaker: Battle Grounds is like a better Scott Pilgrim...

I have yet to see anyone compare these two games (theres no way this can be true) but PBBG plays very similar yet with a deeper battle system than Scott Pilgrim.

I honestly dont see how you can like one and not the other. I strongly recommend both.

being limited to lanes vs moving across the entire screen.

love PB: BG but its not even in the same league as scott pilgrim.

Guardian Heroes is better than both of them.

Wow, Scott Pilgrim really wasnt that good. Insanely basic and easy. Still its fun and its style and humor are well worth it.

Aside from the free movement part, scott pilgrim has NOTHING on PBBG but again its just my opinion so ill leave it at that.

And while i enjoyed Guardian heroes as well, its character balancing issues are hilariously bad especially when it comes to story mode.

But again, all great games.

I've never been a fan of the limited planes. I downloaded this game expecting something more like Scott Pilgrim, but was disappointed with what I got. The main complaint I had was two-player gameplay just felt like a big confusing mess. It was too easy to get grouped together and everything became a clusterf***.

I don't play beat 'em ups for depth. I just want to play with a second player and have a good time.

Ninja Baseball Batman FTW!

I know! They added DIFFERENT combos and MORE special moves! Its now a chaotic insanely complicated mess!

Theres like SEVEN BUTTONS! (Possibly more, sevens just as high as i could count before the multitude of buttons got confusing) Thats one AFTER 6 and one BEFORE 8! Hell I only have 5 fingers per hand!!

Guardian Heroes, arguably the best beat 'em up of all time also uses a lane system. Can't believe anyone would pass this up from that fact solely..
