Is Jack Thompson still relevant? Last I heard of him was when he was disbarred five years ago.
He was on the phone to a Connecticut politician blaming Sandy Hook on games less than 2 hours after it happened. He did the same thing after the Colorado theater shooting. Both times he was proven wrong.
He can't legally practice law without the help of a practicing attorney now, but he can still be as big of an assmunch as he always was without their help.
"Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." Ben Franklin
The part you bolded describes literally every single country on earth. Not that relevant.
^ It's relevant because the United States is becoming more Socialist within the realm of politics, even though the majority of the population isn't.
Other Countries have always been heavy Socialist in nature...but its new for the US.
Other countries are also much older than the U.S. and have gone through the economical and political disasters that are new to The United States. The U.S. is a very young country compared to many others, and they are just now learning what happens if you do not take care of the people. Of course there is a vast majority of people who still only think about themselves and that is what has led the United states to the economic and social turmoil it is in right now.
And as for Greece, that is another Fox News Fear Mongering Buzz Topic. The United states will never end up like Greece, and to try and compare the two is ignorant. Other "socialist countries" that produce goods and services are doing much better both socially and financially.
