Crysis is 5-8hours depending on play style. TR is 10-12hours(15-20hours if you go after collectables).

Crysis' areas are much larger which is also improved more from crysis 2. this allows for more diversity in playstyles compared to TR and most other games in general. However outside of offering more tactical advantages theres little reason to actual "explore" them. you can find the occasional upgrades and thats about it. TR's areas arnt as large, but theyre more densely packed with collectables and resources that offer xp which you can upgrade stuff with and story journals that flesh out more of whats going on. While not a huge step up it does give you more incentive to actually search every corner in comparison to most other games. its gameplay diversity is varied with puzzle solving, platforming, exploration mixed in with its combat options. Its combat has light stealth mechanics, but its mainly a standard cover shooter.

If you didnt like Crysis MP then you wont like 3's. TR's is basically third person CoD, like most other stuff out. its decent for a little fun, but the campaigns are he primary focus.

as for a better expereince id personally say TR. Its story presentation is better, its mix of set-pieces(which are really good), combat(similar to uncharted only better) and other elements make it a more fleshed out expereince. Basically its pacing is really good and does a good job of not bogging you down too much with different elements. The only things id say Crysis would be the better option in is if you want to be a better stealth player since you can do that for most of the game in crysis while you cant with TR.

Don't even look at Crysis.
Tomb Raider.

Crysis isn't bad, but it'll be $20 within weeks. It's shorter, and less interesting characters, story, and gameplay. And less active MP.

this. I traded Crysis 3 for Tomb Raider on the PC.

Both MPs will be dead soon. Crysis' just never took off and TR's feels very half assed. That said, if you get a full game where everyone stays, both can be fun but don't let either's MP factor in.

TR's SP is much better, IMO. Both have bows. Crysis' can shock and explode. TR's lights things on fire and explodes.
