Yeah the youtube app on the xbox is POS might as well use your computer for it.

The YouTube on virtually anything not a computer sucks, whether its a console, internet TV, or phone

Use your Internet app and html5.

It should work on most videos and won't crash/freeze your Xbox like that stupid app.

the ie app plays flash videos for me now so i just use that

The youtube app on most thing's does not work that well but for the xbox it is very crash prone. the suggestions others have made here however should work however.

Works flawlessly on the PS3 browser! No crashes or anything.
I don't know if you can select 720p & 1080p options on the PS3 though.

I have absolutely no problems out if it what so ever and it plays all my videos in HD.
