And tc, I wish so badly that they made the movie that this was a promo for:

the interest to make a movie was hopefully sparked again with the success of Forward Unto Dawn, however.

From my experience with IMDB, they generally don't start announcing cast members unless they plan on following through with the project.

Granted some projects do get cancelled after people have been cast... but that's what's out there.
