Minecraft getting a disc release!

very happy about this and can't wait to get it i hate DD games but had alot of fun playing minecraft on spiltscreen never actually got to just play it single player since i never bought it myself

Hopefully it runs better than The Walking Dead eps 1-5.

But not a big deal for me, either way since i've had Minecraft for a while on DD.

Does this signal the 360 release finally catching up to the PC version? Why release the disk version if its not the "full" game?

Minecraft is popular and has some name recognition with the casual crowd so a disc release will appeal to them on an impulse level resulting in more sales, especially since its likely to be budget priced at $20-$30.
