No they don't. They just don't grant you the ability to play online anymore. You get what you pay for.
Pretty much sums up why people pay for GOLD.
PS+ isn't as terrible as TheBlueStig makes it out to be. The games you purchase at a discount still stays on your account to be downloaded.
Anything downloaded for FREE (games or DLC) will still stay on your account and hard drive, as long as you keep paying for PS+. If you don't, it just doesn't magically VANISH into thin air. You just lose access to them just as you would lose access playing online if you didn't pay for GOLD.
I hope this clear things up with the folks unfamiliar with PS+. And remember folks, PS+ is OPTIONAL, which means you don't need it to access online contents. --- XBL Gamertag: CyberGTX09 / PSN: cybergt09 "Life is the life of life." - Unknown

I'm an Xbox LIVE subscriber (for almost 10 years now) and a PSN+ subscriber (for almost 1 year now). I enjoy both services. They're both worthwhile in my mind. :-) --- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMKUUUvjjzo Fan of: Steelers(6-time Champions), Red Wings(11-time Champions)
