how to I restore the console to factory default settings?

All the videos iv'e seen don't work. I assume it's something to do with the newest dashboard. help?

What's the goal of the reset? If you want to get back to the old dashboard, I don't think its going to happen, that is stored in onboard storage. But if you just want to blank the HDD, just go to storage, then select your HDD. I don't know what initial set up does, but I assume its a reset. Both are in the settings tab under system.

I had a disc drive problem, and somebody told me to maybe reset the console. I doubt that would work, but I always get my options out of the way. Even the silly ones. I even made a topic about it.
