Is Netfilix losing subscribers because people have to pay for Xbox Live Gold?

People don't want to pay for Gold just to be able to watch TV episodes and movies on their 360s. They just want to pay for Netflix. Why hasn't Netflix filed a lawsuit against Microsoft about this issue?

Following your logic, Netflix should fill a lawsuit agains't all ISP's (internet service providers) for charging the internet too??

Naw, because you NEED Internet to be able to stream Netflix to your devices, but you don't NEED Xbox Live Gold to stream Netflix to your console since it's already connected to the Internet and Gold is just an arbitrary restriction pay wall put in place by Microsoft. PlayStation 3, Wii, Wii U, and 3DS don't make you pay for access to it, so why should Xbox 360?

I think Netflix's biggest problem is its lack of selection.

People that are paying for Gold are most likely already paying for whether or not they use Netfix.

People that do use Netflix have a bunch of other ways they can watch it too. I really doubt that Gold has had any impact on Netflix.
