Nintendo is to gaming what Nerf is to sports.

Not really.

Gaming was what I did on Friday nights because no one ever told me where the party was. Then Monday morning at school I'd hear about all the fun I missed.

This whole "nerdy is cool" idea is just a big joke perpetuated by merchandisers.

"Glory days" Is a general term that usually means "years I was a teen".

Gaming is still great, but it's never as good as when you had no adult responsibilities getting in the way.

Touche' on the teenage intrinsic concept--- however, I came from an age where artistic freedom was more widely encouraged! And a time when game companies didn't fear taking chances

Kids who went to parties or raves usually end up doing pretty s***** in school. Sure, there are some exceptions, but a lot of the ones I knew dropped out of high school, overdosed on drugs, or majored in under water basket weaving.
