Do you use a headset while gaming? or just sound from your speakers?

What do you use for your sound?

I just bought a pair of TB's. It's my first ever headphones for gaming. Never experienced surround sound before either so I'm really curious to hear how it sounds.

About a month ago I bought a real nice sound bar, so that's what I use. But I was close last year to buying headsets.

I game in complete silence.
I hate listening to dreams. It's like flipping through a stack of pictures. If I'm not in any of them, and nobody's having sex, I just...don't care

Turtle Beach DXL1 with the DSS2 surround sound module.

Way better than any stock TV speakers.

I spent too much money on Dolby Digital Surround Sound to put headphones on. Sure it sucks for everyone else in my apartment building, but I have a blast.

I have a Turtle Beach X12 headset hooked up to my computer, and I play my 360 through my computer. It does sound better than my computer speakers, but I usually don't wear it unless I'm using mumble or in a party on Xbox Live.

5.1 surround sound speakers, not my tv's speaker.

Right now it's the tv's speakers.

I'm currently looking for a decently priced soundbar.

My gaming chair sits on the floor right in front of the tv, so I figure that might be the best option.

I have a 5.1 surround system but at night I use Astro a50's so that I don't disturb anyone in the house.
