This is a split board - You can return to the Split List for other boards.

In reality, we should only need to pay like $155 on gaming per year.

$50 for a year of gold since there is usually a deal.
$60 for the new COD
$45 of DLC maps

And it's possible to waive se of the dlc costs if you know how to get legit Microsoft points (bing, live rewards)

Trolling aside, if that was all gaming was is to play CoD all year I would promptly quit. I like CoD don't get me wrong but it would be like watching the same rerun of a show day after day

For $150 I could buy enough games to last me a year. Buying games cheap and selling them for a profit could net me even more.

Seriously, next big game that's coming out with a very limited number of collectors editions (the big $150 ones), buy two of those and sell 'em on ebay. That's 4 free full price games in profit right there.

$155 seems about right for Steam sales per year.

Try more like $35 to $40 for Gold, and nothing for CoD or associated DLC, at least not on a console anyways.
