My first three answers were assuming 'returning to the same experience I had last time'.

For wanting to replay older games that no longer work on Windows (due to either incompatibility with newer windows versions, or damaged/lost disk.)

1) Masters of Orion 2, Disk lost, nobody has distribution rights anymore, so not even any chance of Steam.

2) Vampire: The Masquarade, not compatible with newer windows. (Or maybe just not my machine.)

3) Tried to play the old Neverwinter Nights game. (Newest patch on the first allows it to even be played diskless.) It seems to choke on Dual Core though.
