So, how much time has your Xbox 360 spent not connected to internet?

It's online most of the time. But several times a day, it'll get disconnected from Live for ten or more minutes, which is really annoying.

What is the point of buying a 360 and not having it connected to the internet?

I don't know about others, but for me, single player games.... Although it's cheap, I don't feel like paying a monthly fee and most games with multiplayer I want is on PC for me.

Fair enough, although I am one of those people that uses my Xbox primarily for Netflix as I find most games aren't worth playing.

You pay for Xbox Live Gold just for another service that a million other devices can stream for free?

Mine? Probably a good 98% of the time it's not been connected to the internet. Actually, it's probably not connected over 99% of the time.

I went two and a half months without online a little while ago. My year subscription ran out in January and I was waiting for another year subscription to go on sale on Amazon again

Often times, because my 360 is so far from the connection, it will just disconnect and not reconnect until the next day.

I have to completely stop whatever online game I was playing/whatever I was watching on Netflix.

That's why this 720 is going to be the bane of my existence.

Very little if any,it connects automatically to wifi.Funny thing is that 360 doesn't really have offline mode.
360 offline mode = no internet connection found, connection to Live cannot be established

Attention Microsoft defense force.

How little one's console is connected is SO not the point. My console is always connected, that doesn't mean that even my broadband internet doesn't crap out sometimes.

Modems and routers can die too, plus if a man or woman pays sixty bucks for a single player game, they should be able to play it whenever they want.

I always sign in Online when I play my Xbox 360.

I am almost always playing a Single Player mode.

The primary reason I sign Online is to join party chat with friends. Sometimes I play MP games, but not regularly. Lately I've been playing Minecraft with friends. but that's been the exception.
