How often do you have to change your controller's batteries?

I feel like I have to do it a lot. I would say almost every 1 and a half to 2 months I will have to change the batteries on both of my controllers(Use one with more grip for shooters, other one for everything else.) Both of my controllers are really old, ones from 2007 and the other from early 2009 so maybe that's why?

Just wondering what the average time of charge was.

I have 2 charging packs, one always in the controller and the other alway being charged from the xbox itself via usb. When my controller is low, I simply switch the packs around.

Buy a charge dock > keep controllers in it when not in use > win!

I agree, recharging and input lag is the future.

What input lag? christ.

Anyway I change mine every couple weeks or so I guess. I use rechargeable AA nimh batteries and keep a few charged up ready to swap out once my controller indicates to change the batteries.

I never -have- to charge them. I use the Nyko charging dock, so when I'm not using my controller, I just set it in the dock and it starts charging all over again.

I have used both wired and wireless and there is no noticeable difference. And I have 2 battery packs and 1 is always charged up, so I never have to worry about it.

The only thing that I insist on being wired is my internet connection.
