What's the average amount that you peeps think you spend on video games a month? I feel as a 28 year old adult, I spend way too much of my expendable income on video games. Most people as they get older play games less, I seem to be playing them more.. --- There is no love in your violence.
Since I have become basically disabled. I am suck at home and play a lot more then I did when I was younger. I would say I buy a new game once a month or sometimes 2 a month depending whats out. I also have a 2 game out Gamefly account. I have a 360 and PS3.
I used to buy 3 to 5 games a month at $60 a piece. I ended up buying a lot of crap games, so now I only buy 1 to 2 games every few months. --- I'm your huckleberry... You spend nine months trying to get out, and the rest of your life trying to get back in.
I'm an aging gamer myself (30+), and I have slowed way down with my game purchases these days. I still play often, but I don't have the time to play nearly as many titles. As a result I don't play RPGs at all anymore, and I rarely buy a game as soon as it's released. I'm usually still busy with one game while other games I'm interested in drop in price and get thoroughly reviewed. By the time I'm ready to play something else, I have peace of mind knowing that the next game I buy isn't a stinker and I'm getting a good price on it. So that being said, some months I buy no games, some months I buy a few. On average I spend about $30 monthly. If I had more time to dedicate to FINISHING games, I would buy more. If you're spending a ton of money on games, but you have the time to play them all, and you're not in bad financial shape because of it, I say more power to you. --- Insert signature here.
