I understand that "good" is subjective, but anyways...

I was playing the game Midnight Club: Los Angeles, and despite Ice Cube's brilliance as an actor, I can see why Gangsta Rap Made Him change his career. The soundtrack for the game has grown rather monotonous, and I am looking for some great tracks to compliment a fast-paced racing game.

So, please suggest some music for me that would fit the game well! I'll listen to just about anything.

I cannot go to YouTube to post links, but here are a couple of tracks to hopefully set an example for music I would place on a custom racing game soundtrack.

R.E.M. - Living Well Is The Best Revenge
Smashing Pumpkins - Quasar/The Chimera
Kasabian - Club Foot
Queens of the Stone Age - Go With The Flow
Them Crooked Vultures - Dead End Friends
Poets of the Fall - Delicious

Something along those lines, if you would.

Great suggestions! I love the F-Zero tracks, but I think I need to locate some less-retro sounding versions. It just feels wierd, ya know?

Edited the longer outro from Rusty Cage, and it's perfect.

Added the song Ty Cobb from Soundgarden as well.

I went with Shoot To Thrill from AC/DC.

Any suggestions for Drum and Bass?

A state of trance radio show with armin van buuren. Some incredible tunes. There's people who put videos up on youtube driving around switzerland in a subaru, its stunning. I don't really listen to music on drivin games like forza anyway, I like to hear the engine so its easier driving manual.
