I did get it on CraigsList.

You got stuck with a fake, buy a real one from a legit store.

The whole system too, with a bunch of broken ****. 120 GB if it helps. Is there a way to check visually? If not I guess it's not too bad, an HD shouldnt run me too much.

The 360 Pal version does work, it's the one I have played.

Outrun 2 worked before and it doesn't anymore, and I don't know the cause though...

I can all but guarantee you have an off brand hdd. If your xbox 360 has the latest dash and has been connected to the internet at all it SHOULD already have the bc patch. Meaning the only thing stopping you is the hdd.

Well the 100% give away is that there is no such thing as a 120gb HDD for the Slim.
I know i have the same HDD and the same problem.

I still had my old 20GB though so i just slapped it in slim casing and swap HDD's anytime I want to play BC games.

20GB's can be bought real cheap and the slim cases are like $5 on Ebay if you want to go that way.

I don't have a slim. I actually didn't get the HDD from Craig's List as it was from my old system, but I did order it online IIRC not sure from where but I'll be looking into it. If this is the issue, I guess I'll just buy a legit HDD.

This guy gets it. Just grab a cheap official 20 gb hdd to play your bc games. It's more than enough room.

Well they do make 120's for the fat boy models but somehow it seems like you have a knock off with no BC anyhow.
I suggest a visit to Ebay , Gamestop has real 120's for $50 but you can do way better than that on Ebay.
Just do not buy anything made in or from China and make sure the seller can verify it's legit and not aftermarket.

I posted a fix for you in the other topic, JBM. Try:

I think the download you linked to is out of date, it only contains one file and that file isn't the "default.xex" it needs. This new download contains the default.xex in the root as well as whatever the file in the original download is, within its subfolder.

And why exactly did you assume he had a Slim, when he never mentioned having one?
