Witcher 2 or Dark Souls?

I've been wanting to play the Witcher 2 since it released on 360 and just became very interested in Dark Souls after watching the Dark Souls 2 gameplay. So I just want to know which one you guys would prefer and why.

Dark Souls by about a mile. Witcher 2 is a good game, but Dark Souls is a must play game.

If story and characters are at all important to you, The Witcher 2 by, like, all the distance.

Personally, I like Witcher 2 more for story. Geralt is a fantastic character.

But Dark Souls will win this topic, no doubt

I'm a big story and character type of person.

Is Dark Souls hard like make someone rage hard or like "Dang this is hard and fun!"

And those who did vote for The Witcher shall be exiled as heathens and noobs, no doubt.

If you want story, then get Witcher 2.
If you want game-play, then get Dark Souls.

The Witcher 2's gameplay isn't very good or something?

It's hard in the sense that you have to play intelligently, recognize patterns, and take your time.

But...

I'm a big story and character type of person.

Again, I cannot stress enough how much better The Witcher 2 is with story and characters.

Thank you all for your quick and informative responses. I'll be going with The Witcher 2 and pick up Dark Souls some time this summer during the "drought" lol.
