Which Crysis had the best campaign?

I probably have time to play through one entire Crysis game as I've always been interested in the games, but not sure which ones are worth bothering with - my hunch is just stick with Crysis 2; unless Crysis 1 has aged gracefully?
Currently playing: Metal Gear Solid 4

probably crysis 2 in terms of its consistency and pacing, but (imo) it has the worst gameplay in the series. So, yeah...
Currently playing: Kotor 2 - Red Faction: Guerrilla - Sacred 2

Ranking the games: Crysis > Crysis 2 > Crysis 3
You know, whenever a poster uses the terms "b**** and whine" or "piss and moan" or something similar, I simply ignore the entire post.

Best played on PC, but the console version is a semi-decent alternative.

If you're going to play only 1 of these games make it the third one. It's the most polished gameplay of the series and is the only one with the bow, which is a HUGE game changer.
well I am not like your dad. I worked as a chef at TGIF-Mattson

be wary about 1 if you hate invisible walls, also the AI teammates and checkpointing can really screw you over. and the hype about freedom to do things as you want is way way overblown, especially for 1. 2 was like Deus Ex with the entire game being wide corridor battles
