Deny. Publishers who think trying to dethrone CoD by copying it rather than offer a legitimate alternative experience are killing gaming.
and if call of duty wasn't there they wouldn't be copying anything. sorry but it is call of duties fault intentional or not. its a quality game but because of its sales of endless sequels, it has influenced many other games, thereby killing creativity. So yes it is call of duty's fault. It does negatively impact the consumer. You along with all the other people here who vote deny should stop deep throating activision.
Saying that Call of Duty single-handedly ruined gaming is a gross exaggeration.
I'd say that Call of Duty is one of the bigger contributors of stagnation in gaming industry with its nickel-and-diming methods of releasing an entry every single year and the overpriced dlc/season passes that accompany them. It's also caused an indirect form of stagnation with other games constantly trying to mimic the series, rather than developing their own original ideas
