I thought the ban wave always happens the day after a console announcement.

People lose control and sputter offensive garbage because of a new game, a new console, or E3 hype? How is this different than any other day?

Most ban sweeps are because of a leaked game, or a new full console hack.

Console announcement much bigger than game announcements.

More people affected by love/hate topics with consoles than individual game love/hate topics.
