Im trying to decide what plan I can get away with from Uverse for online gaming. Id assume 3mpbs is too slow, but what about 6?

It depends on how much downloading you're going to be doing, the more downloading the faster you want it to go.

Just make sure you get a plan that does NOT have a monthly bandwidth cap.

I have 0.75 kbps or something like that and every game plays fine.

Well looking at the prices its only a $5 difference from 6mpbs to 12mpbs. Its $30 for 3mpbs. Ill only download demos mainly and updates of course.

The game's servers are more important than your internet speed, plus your ping is even more important than download speed when playing online. As long as your download speed is at least 0.8mb and ping less than 50, you should have no issues assuming the servers and online coding are decent for the game you're playing.

0.75 kbps is worse than dial-up. It's definitely mbps.
