I much prefer Dragon Age 2 to Dragon Age:Origins. Origins was too derivative of old high fantasy. We don't need anything emulating that hack writer Tolkien ever again. Dragon Age 2 had a great scope and great combat. The only negative was the re-used dungeons, but that's forgivable when the rest of the game is practically perfect.
Not even close and don't ever talk about people's taste in games.
You should never take that guy's taste in games seriously.
You shouldn't be serious about telling other people to take things seriously. --- [A Gamefaqs moderator was deleted by this message] 3DS Friend Code = 0232-8140-1787 (send a PM if you add me)
why do people say this? the combat was the same in both games. --- There is no I in team, But there is an I in Win

My problem with dragon age 2 was that it didn't give me an enemy, it was just doing quests for the sake of doing quests and getting letters from medieval spam companies.... That was my experience anyway.

The first game is great, plus with Witch Hunt and Awakening, it actually felt like a complete story. 2, I traded it in after I finished it and honestly I barely remember anything about it. I also still have the first game and I am planning on replaying it somewhere down the road.

Didn't hate the game, but prefer? Not even remotely close --- Please don't buy the Xbox One. Doing so will only show companies that it's ok to be anti consumer. Official Zack of the KH3 board

I preferred the combat of DA2 to DAO
why do people say this? the combat was the same in both games.
...No, it wasn't. They had a lot of similarities but DA2 was much more action-oriented. The combat also looked much better...and they managed to make it a lot less boring by removing auto-attack.
There's no way you actually played both of those games and thought the combat was the same in both. It was probably one of the biggest changes, besides the art style. --- "I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it." - Clint Eastwood
