These people need Jesus in their lives.

Having Jesus in your life makes you no more or less likely to make serious threats to someone.

As long as you are human, you have the capacity to engage in these actions, and as long as you have a simple set of ethics or morals, you have the capacity to *not* engage in these actions.

Have Jesus in your life, why not, eh? But do not be deluded into thinking that just because you do, you are suddenly above the temptation of being a complete fool and hurting the feelings of others.

Spoken like someone who doesn't have Jesus in their life.

And this was not so well said.

He's a religion troll. The worst kind of human, really.

If she just wrote a good ending, she wouldn't have to deal with all of this in the first place.

Nobody deserves death threats against their family just because you don't like a video game they worked on (especially if you're referring to Mass Effect 3, which she had nothing to do with).

If people can't take being online just because of what someone else MIGHT say, they can get the f*** off the net, forever.

If somebody gets harassed and threatened over the phone, should they get rid of their phone? If they get threatened in person, should they never leave the house again?

The Crusaders had Jesus in their lives and pillage, burned and raped through the middle east.

Not sure what your point is.

I wasn't referring to harassment or threats, there are people out there, as well as laws, that say you cannot legally ANNOY someone on the net or you'll face charges. Annoy is far too vague of a word to be used in a Federal Law against online communications.

Those are the same kind of people who go to comedy clubs and file complaints against the comedian and want to force a public apology from them for a JOKE they told on stage, or something they said in a film, or commercial, or even something said on an answering machine message in a PRIVATE phone call, or something said 40+ years ago.

Is that the kind of world you want to live in where nobody can say anything because SOMEBODY kinda sorta maybe MIGHT get offended by it and file charges against you, even 40+ years down the line?

F*** that pacifist bulls***. Look up Snyder vs Phelps, all speech is protected speech whether you like it or not.

Freedom of speech is a two-way street. If someone can make a joke that makes someone else feel uncomfortable, why can't that someone else complain about it?

You can complain all you want, because as Steve Hughes said, nothing happens when you're offended.

When those complaints change to forcing public apologies, or worse, filing charges against someone just for something they SAID, that's when it crosses the line into infringing on Freedom of Speech.

Another good reason for Twitter not to exist.

Or any form of internet social networking for that matter.

Videogames are NOT sufficient reason to be going around making death threats to people. If you disagree with what a developer, writer etc does you can do so in an intelligent fashion.

Cheeto munching, fat slovenly layabouts with no social skills need to address their issues elsewhere instead of projecting it onto others.

This sort of behaviour is unacceptable and is the reason why governments are steadily leeching our civil liberties.

I agree for the most part... Gamefaqs isn't really the place to be attacking someones social skills. It's almost an oxy moron.
