Pros and Cons on not installing games on a Slim?

Cons: More wear and tear on the drive
More heat inside the console.
Load times might be a little longer. Depends on the game.

Pros: You don't have to wait for the game to install.

Of course, the drawback of that is that you will eventually spend more time on load screens due to not installing it than it would have taken to just install the game in the first place.

There are potentially other performance improvements beyond just increased load times, such as less texture pop-in in certain games.
