Since there is no warning system for content about to be delisted (most of the time the delisting is permanent), do you think there should be something set up?

It could potentially increase sales for that DLC just before the time limit is up, and to be realistic, we are nearing the end of that time limit for the 360 itself and for all the content the 360 can access.

If you vote no, at least explain why...

Let me rephrase that, at least have the guts to explain why...

Do you really think DLC should just disappear and be lost forever? If so, why?

I say yea. That way people know whether or not to finally just pull the trigger on stuff they've been waiting to show up on a Deal of the Week or just a monthly price drop. Plus, like you said, it would score the devs some cash at the zero hour

Yeah, you're right stig. As you pointed out, this could increase revenue as there could be a run on a title right before it gets delisted. Head-scratching why MS wouldn't do this, although I imagine if such a warning mechanism had existed, we would've seen a lot more delisting for profit purposes.

They know for a fact that delisting an item causes sales to rise, even for crap like avatar items. Remember the old "controversy" for the Gears of War 3 avatar guns? Those sales went through the roof when people were warned that the guns were being delisted, they went up enough so that a whole weapons section was created after that.

If it's not their content, they may not have much warning at all before the content is de-listed. It's asinine to expect Microsoft to anticipate other companies' decisions.

I think they should even have it appear on one of the dashboard tiles. Of course, they could only do so with titles that they receive sufficient warning beforehand, but it'd still be nice.

Cheating has gone hand-in-hand with gaming for centuries. Video games in particular often have cheats built right into the game.

That's a different question than your poll question.
