The areas to start missions are way too large. I try to enter Michael, Franklin, or Trevor's house but even if I walk around the marker, a good 15 in game feet, the mission still triggers.

It's been a while, but didn't the trigger in SR2 go off when you entered it and pressed a button?

If not, why can't games do that? Jeeze.

For Michael I've been sneaking in the side door. That seems to work.

In my opinion, Saint's Row does a lot of things better than GTA in the gameplay and game design departments. That's not to say SR is necessarily the better series, but it does do a few things better than GTA and I think Rockstar should be paying attention.

Anyways, the controls are still pretty sluggish. That and it's a bit empty for now.

I learned to use the back door but maybe we are talking about the same door.

Only for side missions in GTA but I've only just unlocked the 2nd heist. I doubt it will change at this point.
