Good TV for gaming in the $800-$1000 range?

#1spemshaPosted 9/19/2013 7:30:23 PM
I'm looking to get a new TV for my 360 and soon to be Xbox One gaming. What are some good 50"+ TV's in my price range? Also, is there a huge difference between 60mhz and 120mhz refresh rate when it comes to gaming? Thanks for the help.

120hz lags more for video games...you usually end up shutting all that crap off when playing if you want less lag so save a couple bucks and just get a 60hz

I prefer Sharp Aquos ...love their tv's.

the 60 mhz is better for gaming, as games dont go higher than 60 frames per second....that being said, you can easily see the difference between 60 and 120 while watching a blu ray

Future-proof yourself and get something GOOD, not something that's already behind the times like some suggest.

IIRC most of the TV's that run faster than 60Hz have a way to change that for games, as it should be, because gaming isn't the only thing you'll be doing on a TV like that.

Whoever said that games don't run faster than 60fps needs to get a good PC, some things just aren't possible in some games until it's running 120fps or faster. And before you use the bulls*** tired old comeback of "the human eye can't see above 60fps", here's a clue for you, the human eye doesn't see in frames per second....
