I thought of this because I just bought BioShock Infinite from GameStop when it fell to $30 last Wednesday, but I had a $25 gift card and a $5 off coupon so it cost ~$2.50. I was looking at xbldb, and saw that the digital version costs $20 now. But I'd rather have the physical version. Plus since it cost like nothing, I'm not miffed about it.

So I was wondering how the community was divided on this.

I'm already digital, even when there's no price difference.

Bioshock and Bioshock 2 are reduced to ten bucks? I had no idea!
Oh, and I prefer digital. My physical games tend to get lost or stolen and quite often are manhandled. That's just me though.

Except for that part where, unless the print is extremely rare, the digital ALWAYS costs more than the physical...

Sure, when you're dishonest and compare it directly to used it does. New? Nope, not always or even most of the time. It depends on the game and where you're looking.

I saw that BioShock 2 got a price reduction, but BioShock must have been added after I looked. Hopefully this means BioShock will show up as a Game with Gold

I used to go for physical. But now I'm out of shelf space for my games, so now I'm all for digital.

Any idea how long the price drop for infinite is going to last? It's the only Bioshock I'm missing.

There's titles on Live right now that are still $40 or higher and they've been there for years, meanwhile out in retail land those same titles dropped to $30 or less brand new.
