Anyone like GTA4 more than GTA5? Reasons?

The people saying the driving in GTA4 is better are insane.

Wow how is it that people are saying the driving is better in GTA IV?!?!

One could argue IV had more "realistic" driving but in a GTA game I want arcade driving.

The answer was right in front of you all along.

When it comes to Multipayer? GTA IV.

It doesn't have this ridiculous MMO-Free mode thing going for it.

I just want to play vanilla free mode, Cops& Crooks, and maybe a heist game mode. Where are these traditional game modes? They would be amazing with GTA V's engine.

I hate this focus grinding mindless missions for rank progression and cash to obtain access to better vehicles and weapons.

About the driving. Maybe everyone should say which camera view they use(d). I use the first person view, or hood cam or whatever it's supposed to be. I like the driving in GTAIV and I don't mind the driving in GTA V, but I would have liked to see more of the vehicle hood like in IV. As for the other views V is probably better (can't recall how IV handles in the external views. probably pretty bad since I never use it).

The handling config of each car does NOT change when you switch camera views, it never has in any GTA game and never will.

I'll say V is the best GTA since vice city.

While IV was pretty good, I found nike to be an annoying character and Roman is hands down the worst GTA character in history. Niko also had an annoying accent.

V is reminiscent of the older GTAs, by far.

Reasons GTA IV was better:
-Cars had actual weight to them & driving was more realistic that required skill.

That alone puts it on par with GTAV.

The missions, while having less flash, were more combat oriented in GTA IV, which I liked.

For the people complaining about the driving being "better" in IV.

In V shoot out a few of the tires before driving. Have fun!

How terrible is the music in V that people are actually saying the music from IV was better? The music in IV was just so god awful. It is the first GTA game I have played where I actually permanently turned off the radio because I couldn't stand to listen to that crap anymore. Even the talk radio wasn't as good as the previous games.

This right here. I'm getting very worried about what to expect from the radio stations in V, since I hated the selection in IV. There was no metal channel (that godawful Liberty City Hardcore station doesn't count), and there was barely any kind of a conventional rock n' roll channel either! Even the rap channel was pretty underwhelming, aside from a decent song here or there.

It looks like the one and only GTA game to really nail the music selection and get a perfect feel for the era and vibe was Vice City, as far as I can tell.
