Driving in GTA 4, why is it so bad?

#1GrobariPosted 10/16/2013 4:58:06 AM
You're not going to convince me that i'm doing something wrong as i turn left in a car doing 15 mph and it spins out of control

only a select few cars don't drive like crap and when i'm trying to chase after ****ing Jayvon and he's on his little impervious chopper it matters when he turns a corner like he's tethered to a building and i hit the brakes and slide on for two *****ing blocks

The game is called Grand Theft Auto, you'd think they'd focus more on that aspect. Why did everyone like this game so much? Did they fix this in 5?

It takes a bit of skill to master it's actually very good.

GTA5 seems very arcade like from what I've played of it. Number 4 actually takes a bit of skill and is enjoyable rushing through traffic.

I know it's not great mechanics but its definitely not bad.

I disliked GTA 4 just because the driving. Real cars don't act like that, so it's not even realistic. It's like driving on ice.

Still more realistic than any other game in the series. And no offense, but it sounds like you just kinda sucked at it. I'm not very good at games in general and I crashed or swerved off course far less than in previous GTAs.

How does disliking something make me bad at it? I know how real cars act, and they are not so slippery like in GTA 4.

When it comes to not liking something in a game, they main defense is "lol u bad" nowadays.
